What is Playworlds?
Playworlds is a browser-based AI roleplaying game from Elser.AI. Choose a world, create or select a protagonist, and describe what you want to do. An AI game master narrates the adventure alongside character sheets, dice, and saved story progress.
Can I play a solo DND adventure without a group?
Yes. Playworlds currently focuses on solo adventures, so you can start without scheduling a group or finding a human game master. Read each world’s introduction to understand its setting and playstyle. Playworlds is an independent adaptation, not an official Dungeons & Dragons product.
Do I need an account to play?
You can browse the world library without signing in. Sign in with Google or Discord to create characters and play. Saved adventures are linked to your account, so use the same account when you return.
Which AI models does Playworlds use?
Playworlds has gameplay profiles for standard and pro, with MiniMax for voice features. Available models depend on the game mode and service configuration. AI narration can make mistakes; check the current scene and character sheet when an outcome is unclear.
How is Playworlds different from roleplaying in a chatbot?
Playworlds brings the world, character sheet, dice, and saved adventure into one game interface. A general chatbot is useful for brainstorming or improvised scenes, while Playworlds gives you a dedicated place to continue a character’s adventure.
