Waterdeep: Dragon Heist
Navigate Waterdeep through faction bargains, urban investigation and a contest for lost gold.
Story background
In Waterdeep, a contest for a hidden cache of 500,000 gold pieces draws people seeking both wealth and political leverage. The character begins with a public confrontation in Mender's Square: a courier, a torn ledger page, and several claimants who do not want questions asked.
How to play
Expect investigation, urban relationships, faction pressure, negotiation, and consequential choices. Combat is possible but never the only solution. A solo character can investigate, bargain, protect the courier, or withdraw without requiring the other identities.
Content notes
Urban crime, corruption, coercion, abuse of power, public threats of violence, and tense negotiations.
